C. A. Bridges has been kind enough to allow us to post the photos he took at the Mini Megacon this past weekend. Charisma looked beautiful and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Philip Chien from Neatinformation.com, who moderated the Buffy panel at this past weekend’s Mini Megacon, has posted a transcript of the panel. Thanks to this we now have a bit more information on release dates for her upcoming projects.

Phil: Charisma, what’s been happening with you professionally.

Charisma: I have a lot of stuff coming out between now and April. November 7 is “Legend of the Seeker” where I play Triana. Which is a really bitchin thing. I don’t know if you’ve heard of the show. It’s syndicated and it shoots in New Zealand so that was fun but I have to wear head-to-toe leather and it’s a custom made thing and it’s very severe. We kick ass and there’s a little bit of girl-on-girl which is interesting. (big laughter from the audience). “House of Bones” which is the first original movie for “SyFy” is coming out and “Expendables” in April. I did a movie “Vivid” by this amazing director Reg Traviss which is awesome, that was in London, and that’s coming out sometime between January and April.

A dozen clips from the event have been posted to YouTube by TammyDevil666.

The producers of Vivid were interviewed a couple months back at the Cannes Film Festival and a small clip of the movie was included. Click the picture below to watch the video and screencaps of the clip can be seen here.

Melanie Light, the production designer for Vivid, sat down with IndieFlicks to discuss her work. The article is a nice insight into the role of a production designer and contains some minor details about scenes in the movie.

We had one day off whilst shooting at Shapwick – I did my laundry and caught up on tidying up the art department and finishing off little bits of work for the last weeks shoot. I do remember that evening having Charisma Carpenter and some of the make-up girls all hanging out in my room being girly in PJs. I sat and thought, ‘This is cool, I’m hanging out with the chick from Buffy and Angel’. Little moments like these are always rewarding for your hard work. When people make little comments that flatter your work, or for instance when the steadicam guy thought my fake bathroom was real and went wandering in looking for a toilet!
