EXCLUSIVE: Charisma Carpenter Says She’ll Reprise Her Role in “The Expendables 2″
Charisma Carpenter will reprise her role as Lacy (Jason Statham’s girlfriend) in The Expendables 2, the sequel to the successful 2010 movie The Expendables, the Spanish actress tells Latina.com exclusively. “I’m thrilled to be back with the boys and to be working with iconic actors,” Charisma said. “My son thinks I’m the coolest mom ever!”
Carpenter, who’s best known for her role as popular high school student (and all-around badass) Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, can currently be seen in a recurring role on ABC Family’s hit show, The Lying Game.
Charisma confirmed this news on Twitter, adding that she found out about three weeks ago, starts filming in a couple of days and will be working with the whole group of actors.
Tune in to ABC Family tonight at 9:00pm to catch Charisma as Rebecca “Annie” Sewell in the season 1.5 premiere of The Lying Game, “O Twin, Where Art Thou.”
On “The Lying Game,” it’s been a tough night for Emma and Ethan, and things are about to get tougher when they find Sutton has disappeared after their argument and the Mercer family car is missing from the garage. When the police find the car at the bottom of the lake, Emma and Ethan look to each other for support, but Thayer threatens to tear them apart with his accusations against Ethan. Meanwhile, Char’s aunt, Rebecca (guest star Charisma Carpenter, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”), has returned to town and Char is the only one happy about it.
With just under a week to go until Charisma premieres on The Lying Game, check out some the media coverage she’s received recently.
ABC Family has also released two clips featuring Charisma – Annie Returns and Unwanted Guest.
Supernatural First Look Video: Charisma Carpenter Is a Real Witch to James Marsters
Buffy/Angel alumni James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter are set to conjure up some intense marital strife when they guest-star on The CW’s Supernatural this Friday — and TVLine has an exclusive clip from the genre-gasmic episode.
In “Shut Up, Dr. Phil,” Carpenter plays Maggie, a real w-i-t-c-h who is extremely toil-and-troubled by an indiscrection of her husband Don’s. To that end, she’s been acting out a bit with her sorcery skills. As Don points out in this scene, the far-out goings-on have not gone unnoticed by a certain pair of “FBI agents.”
“Hunters, sweetheart,” Carpenter’s sexy spellcaster corrects her spouse. “That’s what they are.”
Sam and Dean had better hurry up said hunt, because based on how this art gallery confrontation ends, Maggie’s witchy worst is yet to come!
